Why do you wear lolita?
Good question! I wear Lolita because I think it’s really pretty for one, and second it’s very expressive. I like clothes that are fun to look at, or express my mood [or make me feel a certain way just by wearing them]. Also, I’ve had a very changing “style” in high school. I could never figure out if I liked punk, or gothic, or happy alternative [we called that “alto”] better.. and of course I really like period clothing. So when I discovered Lolita came in all those kinds of styles it just clicked! Another big reason is that I don’t want to grow up ^_~ there’s definitely this element of loving past eras, these child-like/childhood-remembering colours, prints… gah, seriously I love Lolita. The last and most important reason is that it makes me happy!
